Secondo indiscrezioni circolanti oltremanica, la star di Hollywood Johnny Depp potrebbe accompagnare alla chitarra per alcuni brani i Babybird del frontman Stephen Jones (nella foto) nel corso del loro prossimo show londinese programmato all’Hoxton Square Bar And Kitchen il 12 novembre: il protagonista di “Dead man”, “Edward mani di forbice” e “La nona porta”, inoltre, avrebbe preso anche parte alle registrazioni del nuovo album del gruppo di Sheffield, intitolato “Ex-Maniac”. Dovesse trovare riscontri, questa non sarebbe comunque la prima esperienza musicale di Depp: l’attore suonò infatti la chitarra slide sul brano “Fade In-out” degli Oasis, ha aiutato il frontman dei Pogues Shane McGowan a realizzare il suo primo album solista ed è membro della band P insieme al bassista dei Red Hot Chili Peppersd Hot Chili Peppers Flea e al cantante dei Butthole Surfers Gibby Haynes.
